Grade 3
Geography : locate France in the world, open up to the major continents. The flag is a hook to place a country on the world map.
Grade 4
Geography + civic education : know the EU member states and their symbols (flag, capital). « Travelling in France and in the world » (BO 2025, cycle 3).
Grade 5
Geography : world culture: major nations on each continent, opening to distant places. Preparation for grade 6 (« inhabiting the world »).
