Learning objectives

Grade 3
- Recognise the main waste families and their bin.
- Discover that waste sorted well becomes a new material.
Grade 4
- Sort trickier packaging (cartons, pots) and spot the traps.
- Understand that a useful object can be given away instead of thrown out.
Grade 5
- Sort all waste, including the special streams (batteries, recycling centre).
- Apply the rule: reduce, reuse, then only recycle.
